Our sweet nephew Mason had to have surgery on his stomach this last Thursday and he is in the hospital recovering. Mason is such a strong little guy for everything that he has had to go through. We just want him to know that we are thinking about him and praying for him and we hope to get to see him soon. We love you Mason. For those of you who don't know Mason he loves everything about sharks and in May Mason gets to take his whole family to Florida with the Make a Wish Foundation (such and amazing charity) and go shark fishing for a whole week. We are so excited for them and can't wait to hear all about it when they get back( Mason you better leave your speedo at home) So today I drew and colored this shark for Mason and Matt cut out the letters so that we could wish him well. Because Mason wasn't feeling good and really tired we weren't able to visit him in the hospital today but just in case he see's this, get well little buddy. We miss you, love you and can't wait to see you. We will bring your shark card by later. Love, Auntie H, Uncle Matt and Keeg

Weekend Project
Here is a "card" that I did for the Stamp Club that I go to on the first Wednesday of every month held at the craft store. At stamp club they hand out scraps of products for us to use with a theme and challenge us to make a card and bring back the next month. The object is to use a little piece of each product that they gave you. It does not have to stay in the form they give it to you but it has to be on the card somewhere and you have to use a rubber stamp on the card. Then they display the cards and the customers have the rest of the month to vote for their favorite and the person with the most votes wins a $10 gift card and second place win a $5 gift card. So this months theme was "mothers" and they gave us the flower paper, a little strip of lace paper, a punch out of a womans face, a copper flower and a piece of fabric. This is the project that I thought of. It's actually a paper purse. Pretty cute I think. I didn't want to use the woman's face because, well she's not my mom and what do you do with that, so I covered her face with the flower and button. I think it turned our pretty good. I am hoping to win but I have to wait til May to turn this in and then wait until June to find out if I won.
I haven't participated in the contest for a long time, over a year. I just recently started going back to class since having Keegan. I decided to do the project this month because I am trying to get back into my creativity and do something productive every weekend. And the other reason is that the store now has this binding tool that I really want. The problem is it costs $60 and well I don't want to pay that kind of money for it. So if I can win gift cards that will pay for it then GREAT!!! I go to a scrapbook club that has the same rules and I will have to start doing that too so I have 2 chances a month to win. More winnings coming my way I hope.
