Finished scrapbook club project

Here is the finished card for the scrapbook challenge. Sorry the picture isn't that good. You can obviously see how I used the tree. I opted to use the opposite side of the owl paper and it became the small circles on the right side. I really couldn't figure out how to use the Q as a Q so I cut it up to make the leaves. Again the product they give us does not have to stay in its original form. That was all the product that I had to use. I drew the owl and then I scuffed up the edges of the brown. The card opens up on both sides so you can write in it. And then the large tag sits in a pocket on the inside. I had been thinking about this project for a couple of days and I am happy with how it turned out. What do you think?

Scrapbook Club Challenge

These are the items for the scrapbook club from last month. Instead of a scrapbook page they told us to make a card. The owl paper is double sided so I can use either side. They passed around a bag with chip board letters but I was sitting in the back so by the time it got to me their were only Q's, X's and Z's. So lets see what I can come up with. I will post the finished project when I am done.

Finished Project

Here is the finished project. I didn't take a picture of the inside but I put a stamp that says "Welcome Little One" and above that I stamped a star put glitter on it and inside the star used one of the star stickers that said "You Did It". The gold star is under the flower that is standing out on the book mark, and I used flower punches for the red and yellow paper and the green paper was used for the leaves. I have a good feeling I am going to win this one.

May's stamp club project.

I have got to get busy. These are the items for the stamp club card for last month. I didn't have it done in time to turn in at class Wednesday. Again we have to use a little piece of all items but they do not have to stay in the form given. You also have to use a rubber stamp somewhere on the the card. This one has to be a card with a detachable book mark and the theme is "Congrats". I will post my project when I am done. Hopefully I will be able to come up with something. Only 5 cards were entered the other night. My odds of winning first or second place will be pretty good if I can get it turned in today.

My "Mother" Stamp Project Won!!!

Remember a few months ago when I did the stamping project for the rubberstamp club that I go to every month. You can scroll down to look at the project if you don't remember. Anyhoo, every month they give us items to use on a themed card project and you have to make a card and take it in to the store at the next class and then shoppers have a month to vote for their favorite. Well good news, I was the 1st place winner. I won a $10 gift card to the craft warehouse. That was easy money. I am sitting here thinking to myself, why don't I do this every month. So if you live in town and you voted for my project in the store. Thank you very much.
