AND THE VOTES ARE IN !!!!!!!!

We are happy to announce that Keegan is the Grand Prize winner of Portland's Cutest Baby Contest for 2008. We are so excited and amazed that he actually won. We had a fun time going to the event that was held at the car dealership. They had raffle tickets and if your number was called then you picked a money envelope that could have anything from a $1 bill to a $100. I was lucky and won $5. They gave away some great Hawaiin BBQ food and lots of free Boogie Wipes. We came home with the grand prize which was $1050.00 savings CD for Keegan and we got to drive home a 2007 Chevy Uplander mini van with a no cost to us 1 year lease, how cool is that and a $50 gift certificate to AppleBee's. We want to thank everyone who took the time to vote for Keegan and who supported us in this fun adventure. The money will be a great start for Keegan's college and we are thrilled.

They started to interview us on the radio and I clammed up and sounded like an idiot. I think I only said like 2 words. Luckily they asked Matt the same question just before me and he gave a much better answer. I asked the radio guy not to put my portion on the radio and he laughed and said Yeah Right. So if you live in Portland you can tune in to 97.1 tomorrow and hear us on the radio. Another funny thing is that Matt's mom was there with us to hear the announcement and she said that someone standing next to her BOO'd when they called Keegan's name. For some reason I laugh everytime I tell that, but that is some bad sportsmanship.

We are enjoying the new car and took a long ride today. It has a DVD player in it that Keegan enjoys and watched movies until he fell asleep.
