I am wondering when other families have added their children to their dental plan. When do you take a child in for their first dental visit. How do you keep them from freaking out?

I took all of mine when they turned 3....I don't know what the suggestion is...seems like that's what the doc. told me long ago :) Unless you think there is some problem, 3 should be fine.
