October Stamp Club Challenge
Finished Project
Here is the finished project for October's stamp club. Class will be on October 1st. We turn our card in and then customers vote for their favorite during that month. When I go to November's class we will find out the winner. I made this card with a pocket because I thought it would be fun to put a treat inside since the theme is Halloween. The paper is used on the inside of the pocket as well as the folded piece. We are required to use at least one rubber stamp and that would be the grave stone. I used some of the silver leaf on the edges of the grave stone. I used the orange glitter for the R.I.P lettering as well as the flowers and the stripes and I used the fuzzy black powder stuff on the bat. Well hopefully I will get alot of votes and win the $10 gift card.

New Hair Do
Here is the end result of the hair cut experience. He doesn't look like a baby anymore without his little curls. What a big boy. He did really great getting his hair cut. He got to sit in a fun car and watch Willy Wonka, and the first part of Nemo. The hair dresser didn't believe us when we told her he was 18 months. She said he has great vocabulary. She also didn't want to believe us when we told her that he won Portland's Cutest Baby contest this year and that we won the rights to the mini van for a year. With this new do we say good bye to our baby and hello to our big boy.
It's Time for a Hair Cut.
We have decided that it is finally time for another haircut. I can't take the bozo hair do anymore. Matt found this cute kids cutting place that has toy cars for the kids to sit in. So we will go and check it out. Good bye curls.

One little heart beat
Well for those of you who don't already know, Matt and I are expecting another little Dallmann in March. I have been battling with morning sickness (more like all day sickness) which is new to me because I did not experience it at all with Keegan. And I am pretty tired of it. I am looking forward to the day when I can just brush my teeth in peace. I hear from a lot of people that "they" say when you have a lot of morning sickness and the pregnancy is different from the first that you are having a girl. We still have awhile until we find that part out. I am about 11-12 weeks. The doctors are undecisive.
So I didn't go back to the Dr. that I had with Keegan. I thought I would try someone new but I really didn't have any referrals so I just had to pick someone out of the hat. Well that turned out to be a really bad idea. This lady was awful. The first things she tells me is "don't gain any weight" Ok I will try but when you are growing a human being it is pretty hard not to do that. Then she tells me that she is not suggesting that I go on a diet but losing weight would not be a bad thing. Ok lady, can I just get a congratulations. The next thing she tells me is that she is going to test me for STD's, gonorehha and chlomidia. I assured her there would not be an issue with that, but she insisted. OK I really don't like you now. So to top the visit off she then says to me, we can do an optional test that would check the baby for cystic fibrosis. In the event it was positive you could choose to abort. OK I am outta here, give me my clothes, give me my $20 back and kiss my bum goodbye lady.
Not a good Dr.
Good news is!!!! I went to a different Dr. yesterday and I had a completely different experience. Everyone was so nice. They said congratulations this is so exciting. Already 100 times better than the first lady. This office has their own ultrasound machine so they were happy to take a look.
And there it was.... One little baby moving around and one little heart beat. I say one little baby because many people have mentioned twins to us since it runs in both my family and Matt's.
So we are pretty excited. I am anxious to get rid of the sickness and get back to feeling normal and being able to go to work without dragging and feeling like I have to throw up all day.
Hats off to all you mothers who have lots of babies. Seriously, I don't think I can do this again. I am not cut out for sickness.
So now comes the task of picking a name. We are completely stumped on girl names. So does anyone have suggestions in the event that our new favorite color will be pink???
Love you all... H
