Ok. I am so bored today. I can't seem to find things to keep me and Keegan busy. By not being busy I am tired. I want to know what all the stay at home mothers figure out what to do all day to keep from going crazy. I have no ideas. I even got in the car and drove around for a bit but that was not fun because I had no place to go. I baked cookies yesterday. Please help.

Here are some ideas or things I've done besides taking the kids to the park, feeding ducks, swimming,running errands,etc:
-Worked on grandma's life history & even started personal life history
-Made jam (just finished last batch!)
-Read a book!
-Work on 1 year supply of food - I'm a couponer so I look at grocery ads and coupons and plan my shopping trips
-Clean! Always something to clean or do around house like laundry, move summer clothes out & bring in winter clothes, etc
-Quilt (want to start again!)
-Make a Grab-it-and-Go Financial book of all important documents. If you want more info, I'll email you.
-Yard work! I'm constantly moving something, pulling weeds, planting bulbs, etc
-Cook and cook. My boys love to help me cook and bake. We made breads, rolls, treats, etc. They absolutely LOVE it. I'm thinking they are going to be chefs for Halloween.
-Read up on family blogs
-Work on Christmas presents. Now is the time to start thinking of what to make or buy or just do! For parents I think I'm making a little photo album online to print. My boys I'm making a little train quilt, etc. This can take time!
Ok...there are some ideas to begin with. Now that I don't work. I'm surprised I ever got anything done while working. I'm always busy and my kids are still little and not in school or activities yet!
Hey Heather...I would have to agree with what suggestions that Tami gave you...there were some really good ones.
Also...you might try looking up a Mom's group to belong to in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Or possibilly you church may have one already set up.
