I did it!!! I made fresh homemade bread. I have heard a lot of talk on other blogs about homemade bread and so today I decided to give it a try and this is how it looks. Isn't it lovely.
I called my mom yesterday to ask her for her recipe and to my surprise she said that she doesn't use a recipe. What!! How do you know how to make bread without a recipe? Years of practice was her answer. So I went online and found a recipe. Although making bread is not hard to do it is time consuming because it has to rise and then you have to pound it and then it has to rise again and then you put it in the pans and then you have to let it rise again. Ugggh! Took all day. But it looks great right. I haven't tasted it yet. I was trying to think of something for dinner that would go good with homemade bread but I haven't figured that out either. Anyways, here is to feeling good and being productive. Do I have anyone that wants to be a guinnea pig?

Me too!!! It looks great. Todd and I have a bread machine, so it not as time consuming...the machine does all the work and the bread is yummy!
We have a bread machine too but I didn't want to do it that way.
I got rid of my bread machine because I never used it....now I wish I had it. :)
Thanks so much for the bread...We haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I can't wait to have it warmed up with a dinner.
